教材分析：
The content of my lesson is from Senior English for China Book 7, Unit5. This unit is about studying abroad, which mainly introduces a Chinese girl who faces difficulties and challenges while studying abroad for the first time. With the help of a host family and her tutor, she can adapt to the life and study abroad quickly. While learning this text, students not only need to list the benefits and difficulties she faces, but also analyze the reasons why she studies abroad. The teacher will guide the students to use the critical thinking to analyze the process of her fitting in well and dig out her inner qualities in order to infiltrate moral education.
教学目标：
1. Linguistic ability: At the end of this class, students are expected to grasp the main idea of the whole text and each paragraph, and learn benefits and difficulties of studying abroad.
2. Cultural awareness: Students are encouraged to compare and summarize the differences between Chinese and western cultures.
3. Learning ability: Students are able to learn abilities of facing the difficulties，analyzing the reasons，overcoming and solving the problems by themselves.
Thinking quality: Students are encouraged to analyze Xie Lei’s experience of studying abroad and try to dig out her inner qualities and infiltrate moral education.
